Course Description

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to identify the purpose of and common information found on a typical MSDS, define common abbreviations, locate and interpret specific information, recognize physical states in which chemicals are found, identify chemical routes of entry into the body and specify control measures needed to prevent exposure to hazardous chemicals.
