Course Description

Students completing this course will be able to: distinguish between "power off" and "isolating hazardous energy," associate neglect of safe procedures with potential harm, explain steps of "locking out" and safely returning equipment to service, list criteria for cleaning machine jams, describe lockout/tagout procedures, and describe good practices and systems in lockout/tagout activities.
