Course Description

After successfully completing this course students will be able to: identify agencies responsible for asbestos regulations, locate where asbestos-containing materials are commonly found in building materials, define asbestos-associated terms, list signage and labeling requirements, recognize asbestos-related illnesses, describe an OSHA medical surveillance program, discern circumstances in which people may be exposed to asbestos, and explain safety measures that protect against asbestos exposure
