Create e-learning content

With EZ LCMS you can quickly and easily convert your existing training materials into e-learning content, or create your training from scratch. The Free EZ LCMS PowerPoint plugin allows you to build complete courses including multimedia content, quiz and/or test questions and completion certificates. Once your PowerPoint course is complete, the PowerPoint plug-in can automatically load the course into the EZ LCMS system for you, for delivery to your students.

In addition, the on-line, form-based, courseware development system is based on professional e-learning content development processes, from storyboarding to final product publishing. Subject matter experts or instructional designers design content that can be generated as a storyboard for review, or generated directly into a final courseware product.

You may also create your elearning content with any number of third party courseware development tools like Articulate or Captivate, and load that content directly into EZ LCMS.

Deliver content to students

Students interact with an easy to use interface for launching on-line course content, tracking instructor-led classes, joining web conferences, and accessing on-line resources. A course catalog enables learners to enroll themselves in public courses and classes; and a per-course/class discussion forum allows students to join together and learn from each other.

If you have decided to charge for your courses, your students can choose the courses they wish to purchase from the course catalog, pay for them, and begin taking them right away.

Track and report on student progression

EZ LCMS provides built-in reporting in visual styles that make it easy to access and view the student's information and progress. Reports can be viewed by the individual, group, course, class, or even customized to display based on custom user criteria that you create. All reports are available in pie or bar chart format.

Using the Manager role, you can assign different individuals in your organization to be responsible for groups of students. Managers can view their students progress and manage their enrollments as needed.

  • Automatic enrollments: Associate content with groups, and all members of the group are auto-enrolled in the required content/curriculum.
  • Enrollment expiration: Require your users to complete training in a a specified amount of time.
  • Certificates: Create customizable certificates to be granted to your students upon completion of a course or curriculum.
  • Item Analysis: View the details of how each question was answered in a quiz or test.
  • Custom User Criteria: Enter your own custom user criteria fields and use those fields to organize and track your students.
  • User Import: Import an excel spreadsheet of all of your user accounts, including groupings and custom user criteria.
Creating Content
  • Use existing PowerPoint content or create content in PowerPoint with audio, video, flash interactivity and quiz and test questions.
  • Use the online collaborative development system to create content online in a simple form-based manner.
  • Load any SCORM 1.2 compliant content from any 3rd party development system such as Articulate or Captivate.
  • Assemble / Re-purpose existing course content into new courses.
